BlueCat alumnus Zeke Farrow has been remarkably busy after his screenplay, Fuck Facebook, earned him a finalist position in our 2012 competition. Fuck Facebook has since won the Gold Prize in Comedy in the Page Screenplay Awards, a contest founded by Hollywood producers and executives, and has garnered attention from directors and producers.
Farrow has recently signed with Management 360, a well-respected talent agency which represents stars such as Margot Robbie, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Channing Tatum.
In 2013, Farrow received the Peabody Award for his documentary Best Kept Secret, which follows the exploits of schoolteacher Janet Mino as she works to ensure that her special needs students reach their full potential. Best Kept Secret won several film festivals and was aired as a part of PBS’s special POV series. At time of writing, the film has 100% ratings on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, and is the #1 rated documentary on Netflix.
Farrow’s newest feature, Before the Sun Explodes, which he wrote in conjunction with director Debra Eisenstadt, is currently in post-production and will no doubt enjoy many positive receptions during the 2016 festival circuit.
At present, Farrow’s attention is focused on a new short film starring Side Effects star Marin Ireland, and its projected completion is expected to coincide with festival submission dates this fall.
