Bang2Write offers some pointers for selecting a memorable and effective title for your film. In short order, the six tips are as follows:

1. Pick a title that is appropriate for the genre.

2. A name relating to the setting or job is great for TV, but not so great for films.

3. Avoid using lyrics or song titles.

4. If drawn to a well-known word or phrase, google it first!

5. Obscure titles need a good source.

6. If you opt for a fancy title, commit to it 100%.
